Top Authors I've Only Read One Book From But NEED to Read More
1. Jennifer L. Armentrout (Obsidian)
Obsidian was the very last book I read, and I am in desperate need of more of Jennifer L. Armentrout's writing and engrossing stories! I was completely hooked on the story from the start and would have pulled an all-nighter to finish if it hadn't been for the need to go to my 8am class yesterday morning. With that being said, I definitely need Onyx in my possession soon!
2. Kimberly Derting (The Pledge)
3. Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse- Dead Until Dark)
In my attempt to branch out into reading more adult books, I decided to start off light with going into the paranormal adult fiction first and stumbled across this series.... Now granted this is the first and only book that I've read by Charlaine Harris, but I have a feeling that I am going to really enjoy this series! Can't wait to continue!
4. Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Boys)
When I first read The Raven Boys, I loved its uniqueness. I felt that the storyline was different than what I had been reading at the time and it intrigued me. I hope to read more from this author and get to reading The Dream Thieves soon.
5. J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone)
I know what you're thinking!!..... she seriously hasn't read the Harry Potter series.... Yes! I am guilty! Nothing more to say.... really need to get on to reading this series.
6. Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief)
Once again.... really need to get to reading this series! Heard many great things about this series as well as the spin-off series.
7. Susan Ee (Angelfall)
I read Angelfall around the time when its buzz and hype was in its prime. After everything died down, and other books were shoved into the spotlight, I also moved on to those. I think it is about time that I continue with the next installment especially because I flew through this one.
8. Tahereh Mafi (Shatter Me)
This was one of sequels that I have been meaning to pick up for ages but always got distracted by another book instead. I absolutely LOVED Shatter Me so getting on to reading the next books in the series is a definite must!
2. Kimberly Derting (The Pledge)
I absolutely loved this book when I read it and with it being almost a year, I think the time has come for me to read more from Kimberly Derting. More especially from this series in particular.

9. Jenny Han (Burn For Burn)
Jenny Han has been an author whose books I have seen everywhere, from her Burn For Burn series to The Summer I Turned Pretty series to her newest release To All the Boys I've Loved Before. I am definitely ready to read more from this author in the near future. 10. Alex Flinn (Beastly)
Although Beastly wasn't one of my absolute favorites, I still enjoyed the story. I really love fairytale retellings and folklore so I think I will really like this author's work. I'm interested to see what Alex Flinn's other books have to offer.
YOU NEED TO READ MORE RICK RIORDAN! Lol but great list! :)
ReplyDeleteYES! I agree I need to get on that soon. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI am joining you in having only read the first Percy Jackson book. Series like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson need to have been read by everyone, it seems.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm not alone! And I feel that everyone raves about those series so much that I feel like I HAVE to know why, so onto my TBR pile it goes. Thanks for Commenting!
DeleteSookie's series is good until you start getting towards the end of the series. Then things start to fall apart. :( But the series in the beginning is AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteKristin @ Book Sniffers Anonymous
Well that sucks :( but at least it's good for a while at first. Thanks for the heads up and for stopping by!
